Obituary of Cecil Jamison

Cecil Jamison, age 78 of the Cisco Community, OK passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Paris, TX. He was born on January 31, 1937 in Idabel, OK, the son of FM Jamerson and Myrtle Sisk Jamerson. Cecil retired from Weyerhaeuser Valliant Paper Mill after over 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he was a golden gloves boxer. Cecil enjoyed fighting chickens, coon hunting, fishing and deer hunting. Cecil was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved his family very much and was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cecil loved going and supporting his daughters in pageants when they were younger. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeannie Jamison; a son, Anthony Keith Jamison; grandsons, Tyler Scott Brown and William Jason Sprague; sisters, Wanda Friars, Roxie Martin and Audrey Bosma; brothers, Clifford Jamerson, Buster Jamerson and Doyle Jamison. Cecil is survived by daughters, LaGena and Gary Brown and Marsa and Michael Green all of Hot Springs, AR; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Patty Jamison of the Cisco Community, OK; sisters, Melva Matlock of Garvin, OK, Joyce Robberson of Valliant, OK; brother, Frankie Jamison of Forest Grove Community, OK; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro Russell McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community, OK. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm prior to the service on Sunday.
