Obituary of Iris Balagbagan

Iris Balagbagan, 84, of the Redland Community passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 in Idabel. She was born April 4, 1923 in the Redland Community, the daughter of Frazier and Myrtle Billingsley Dillard. Iris was a homemaker, and worked as a retail sales clerk for several area stores including Warren’s. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with family. Iris was a devoted member of the Redland Church of Christ and loved her Church family. She was a lifetime resident of the Redland Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcos “Mack” Balagbagan; a brother, Billy Don Dillard; and a great-granddaughter, Courtney Balagbagan. Iris is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Victor and Juanita Balagbagan, and Danny and Judy Balagbagan all of the Redland Community; grandchildren, Roxanne Clark of the Redland Community, Kimberly Clark of Broken Arrow, Marcus Kane Balagbagan of Idabel, Katrina Balagbagan of the Redland Community, and Misty Pollard of the Pollard Community; great-grandchildren, RaeLeigh, Peyton, Brett, and MaKenleigh; her sister, Doris Lightsey of Idabel; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
