Obituary of Howard Thomas Pogue

Howard Thomas Pogue, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2015 at his home in the Shinewell Community. He was born June 6, 1965 in Idabel, OK, the son of RF Pogue and Lucille V McGough Pogue. Howard was a 1983 graduate of Haworth High School. He was a timber worker and enjoyed hunting. Howard was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his father, RF Pogue; and a brother, Robert S Pogue. Howard is survived by his mother, Lucille Pogue of the Shinewell Community; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick and Shirley Pogue of the Goodwater Community and Frank and Sandy Pogue of the Shinewell Community; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Pauley Cemetery with Cy Davis officiating.
