Obituary of Leodis Threadgill

Leodis Threadgill was born on March 3, 1950 in Tom, OK to Annie Bell Bailey and Milford Threadgill. He grew up in Tom, OK. As an adult , Leo moved to Little Rock, AR where he met and married Della. To this union a son was born. He later met Anita Henderson of Kansas City, MO and from this union two sons were born. Leodis was a very loving person. He drove a semi truck until his health failed. he was a jokester and would leave a smile on your face. He will be greatly missed. Leodis departed this life on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and a brother. Memories of his life will forever be remembered by his three sons, Shawn Threadgill of Little Rock, AR, Lee Henderson and Leo Henderson both of Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Bailey, Lorene Moore, Mary Bailey all of Idabel, OK; brothers, Billy Bailey and Niece of Idabel, OK, Edward Bailey and Kay of Lockesburg, AR, Albert Williams of Foreman, AR and Kervin Bailey of Murfeesboro, AR; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 1801 Larosa Street, Idabel, OK with Rev. AW Gulley officiating.
