Obituary of Lonnie LeRoy Washington

Lonnie LeRoy Washington, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Idabel, OK. He was born on March 18, 1935 in Tom, OK. Lonnie loved listening to Gospel music and also enjoyed playing the guitar while singing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Washington and Mittie Bell Hines, and several brothers and sisters. Lonnie is survived by his daughters; Louise Washington, Shelia Washington, Marlene Washington, sons; Roy Lee Washington, Lonnie Washington Jr., and David Washington, sisters; Virginia Streets, Minister Dorothy Hayes, Pearlene Williams, Gladys Scales, several nieces nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the CME Methodist Church in Idabel, OK with Bishop William Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Williamston Cemetery.
