Obituary of Brenda Kidd

Brenda Kidd, age 67 of Idabel, OK passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Idabel. She was born on May 26, 1948 in Idabel, OK. Brenda worked at Weyerhaeuser for 22 years. She most recently worked for the Alabama Coushatta in Houston, TX. She enjoyed sewing, working puzzles and talking on the phone with friends. Brenda loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Kulli Tuklo Methodist Church and had returned home to Idabel a few months ago. She was preceded in death by her father, Silas Parker II; and her brother, Larson Williston. Brenda is survived by her mother, Ruthie Mae Williston of Idabel, OK; daughters, Crystal Harris Owens of Durant, OK and Rhonda Marris of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Alexandria Harris of Stillwater, OK, Thomas Owens and Bryson Owens both of Durant, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Edison Elliott of Idabel, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Silas Parker II and Jeri of California, Thomas Williston and Legena of Idabel, OK and Terry Williston and Kittie of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Kulli Tuklo Methodist Church in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Kulli Tuklo Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the funeral home.
