Obituary of Ronnie Lee Johnson

Ronnie Lee Johnson, age 68, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his home in Idabel. He was born June 17, 1946 in Nimmons, AR, the son of Charles Norval Johnson Sr. and Nellie Marie Grubbs Johnson. Ronnie married his wife Pat on February 28, 1970 at Reno, NV. Ronnie was a very successful roofing contractor for several years in California and continued roofing after moving to Idabel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a lifetime avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Ronnie and Pat had made Idabel their home for 28 years. Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Pat Johnson, of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kim Johnson and Jon Johnson all of Idabel, OK; a daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and Andrew Kozsan of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Alex, Shelby, Taylor, Dawlton, Jordan, Christian, Dakota and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Grace-Leigh and Skilar; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Shirley Johnson of DeQueen, AR and Jimmy and Emily Johnson of California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Jack Lucas and Vada and Eddie Turnbough, all of California; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Denison Cemetery with Bro. Doug Deramus officiating.
