Obituary of Carlos Asbill

Carlos Dennis Asbill, age 54, of Wicks, AR passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Wicks. He was born on February 15, 1961 at Clinton, OK, the son of Christopher Columbus Asbill and Bonnie Riggs Asbill. Carlos lived most of his life in Idabel. Carlos was an iron worker in the construction industry. Carlos was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and gardening. He enjoyed being with his friends and family, talking and telling stories. Sometime he might stretch the truth a little to get a laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents: Columbus and Bonnie Asbill. Carlos is survived by: his special companion; Wanda Mitchell of the home: son, Craig Asbill of Dallas, TX : step-children, Misti Alexander , Christy Kitch and Justin Mitchell all of DeQueen, AR, Jessica Smith of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, Frank Asbill of Hennessey, OK, Albert Asbill of Valliant, OK, Cordell Asbill of Choteau, Ok, L.D. Asbill of Stillwater, OK ; sister, Carlene McVay of Ponca City, OK; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Haworth Cemetery with David Rowe officiating.
