Obituary of Nell Powell

Martha Irma Nell Powell, age 71 passed in her sleep peacefully at home on Thursday, April 23, 2015. She was born on December 24, 1943 in Haworth, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Katherine Baxter Cox; a sister, Lorrie Cox Pierce and her brother, Leo Cox. Nell is survived by her husband, Donnie Wayne Powell of the home; her son, Gregory Shane Powell and wife, Charlotte; grandchildren, Caleb Quinn Powell and Raemee Nicole Powell; brothers, Sam Cox and wife, Claudine, Lem Cox and wife Lujuana; sisters, Hattie Wendt and husband, Joe and Allene Fuller; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. It was her request that no services be held.
