Obituary of Michael Bond

Michael Bond, age 69, passed away on March 2, 2015 in Idabel, OK. Michael was born July 14, 1945 in Washington, D.C., the son of Robert Edward and Evelyn Mehringer Bond. Michael was an electrician draftsman and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed model building, reading, gun and movie collecting, playing video games and riding his motorcycle. He had lived in McCurtain County for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Bond; and brother, David H. Bond. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 22 years, Brenda B. Weir of the Redland Community; son, Robert William Bond of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Deborah Suzanne Bond of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Bianca Celine Bond, Robert William Bond Jr., Darren Hassenhoss; brothers, Allan Robert Bond and John H. Bond, both of Houston, TX; step-children, Janice Meredith Rasco of Austin, TX and William Bradley Weir of South Texas; step-grandchildren, Joshua Rasco, Matthew Rasco, and Zachary Rasco; many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the White Family Chapel.
