Obituary of Wilma L Sams

Wilma L Sams, age 75 of Idabel, OK passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Texarkana, TX. She was born on October 3, 1939 in Franklin, MO, the daughter of Arthur M. Scott and Sadie Pinkston Scott. Wilma was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, huck toweling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilma was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and had lived in Idabel since 1978 coming from St. Louis, MO Wilma was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Skaggs; sons, Dennis Skaggs and Lindell Skaggs; and a granddaughter, Kathy Skaggs. Wilma is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Russell and Cecelia Skaggs of Haworth, OK and Robert Skaggs Jr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Frank Bunce of Broken Bow, OK, Debra and Ray Hahne of California, Susie Skaggs of California and Kathryn Uelentrup of Missouri; grandchildren, Debra Smith, Amanda Skaggs, Christy Skaggs, Billie Moore, Sara Holleman, Monica Level, Ron Smith, Chris Skaggs Justin Peca, Josh Skaggs and Tabitha Jackson; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the White Family Chapel with Bro Doug Clements officiating.
