Obituary of Laronda Smith Scott

Laronda Smith Scott, age 54 of Haworth was born June 1, 1960 in Idabel, the daughter of Eldon Smith and Barbara Jean Flood. She passed this life December 12, 2014 in Haworth. Laronda enjoyed rock music, concerts and hanging out with family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed and loved her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren could talk “Mamaw” into doing just about anything from dress-up, trucks to motorized shopping cart races. They especially enjoyed doing the things that Mama had said no to. Laronda lived life to the fullest and was always smiling and cutting up. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Eldon Smith and Barbara Jean Flood Laronda is survived by her husband, Gary Scott Sr. of Haworth; daughter, Carrie of California; son and daughter-in-law, Gary “Bubs” Jr. and Jina Jo Scott of Haworth; five grandchildren, Carlee Jo, Kasey, Aaron, Jaycee and Skyler all of Haworth; Laronda was like a 2nd mom to many of Carrie and Bubs friends. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the White Family Chapel with Mark Ridge officiating. Interment will follow at the Haworth Cemetery.
