Obituary of Albert Bryant

Albert DeWayne (JR) Bryant Jr., age 52, passed away on Monday, September 29, 201 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on March 2, 1962 in Talihina, OK, the son of Albert Bryant Sr. and Elsie Ishcomer Bryant. JR was a graduate of NW Classen High School in Oklahoma City. JR was a chef and had worked at several different restaurants in the Oklahoma City area. Since moving back to Idabel he had worked for the Choctaw Nation, most recently at the Choctaw Community Center in Idabel. JR enjoyed working on cars and was a member of the Choctaw Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mark Ishcomer; and his maternal grandmother, Louise Ishcomer. JR is survived by his daughter, Tori Bryant of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Brandon Butler and Avante Butler; a sister, Lisa Sellars of Idabel, OK; a brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Rhonda Bryant of Oklahoma City, OK; aunts, Sue Carter of Idabel, OK and Patsy Pilant of Broken Bow, OK; uncles, Greg Ishcomer, Butch Bryant and Bill Bryant all of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A wake service will be held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery.
