Obituary of Dwight Hudson

Dwight Hudson, age 53 of Idabel passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1957 in Dumas, TX. Dwight worked for LP Lone Star Gas while living in Texas. He enjoyed making model rockets. He was preceded in death by his father, Guinn Hudson; brothers, Tim Hudson and Joe Hudson; and a sister, Sharon Nigh. Dwight is survived by his wife, Gloria Hudson of Idabel; his mother, Mozel Hudson of Idabel; step-children, Juanita Layfield of Idabel, John Brock of Idabel, Tammy Sue Hamilton of Chandler, TX, Linda Garland of Arkansas and Carla Thompson of New Mexico; a brother, Phil Hudson of Dumas, TX; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the White Family Chapel with Rev. Miles Wesner officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery.
