Obituary of Orin Harris

Orin C. Harris, 58, of Idabel passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. He was born July 17, 1948 at Topeka, Kansas the son of Vida (Winkler) and Orin Lester Harris. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. Orin moved to Idabel 9 years ago, coming from Topeka, Kansas. He was a talented musician, playing the clarinet and the piano. He enjoyed writing, as well as reading his Bible. On June 27, 1991 he married Barbara Rogers at El Reno, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Noel Harris. Orin is survived his wife of 15 years, Barbara Harris of the home; step-son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Donna Richardson of Idabel; step-daughter, Lisa Smith of New York; step-grandchildren, Kerri Dawn Richardson, Kenny Richardson, Sunny and Cran Pollock, and Cody Smith; 4 step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
