Obituary of Mary Johnson

Mary Johnson, age 82 of the Mt Herman Community passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Broken Bow, OK. She was born on February 9, 1932 in Leesville, LA, the daughter of Samuel and Minnie Toney Mayo. Mary was a homemaker and had lived most of her life in McCurtain County. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and being outdoors. Mary loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Louie Johnson in 1984; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Donna Johnson of Florence, AZ, Mike and Kay Johnson of Foreman, AR and Timothy Johnson of Idabel, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Kenneth Wright of Kingston, AR, Pat and Mike Lammont of Chucky, TN, Connie and Floyd Harris of Idabel, OK and Gearldene and Frank Walls of Alex, OK; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Gabe Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at the Hochatown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
