Obituary of Floyd Andrew Bell

Floyd Andrew "Andy" Bell, age 66 passed away on Sunday June 15, 2014 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born on January 31, 1948 in Idabel, OK. Andy was a 1966 graduate of Idabel Gray High School. He worked as a logger for several years and was most recently working at Carter's recycling. Andy was an avid sports fan and could often be found watching just about any kind of game on the TV. He enjoyed metal detecting in his spare time and had lived most of his life in McCurtain County. Andy was a devoted and loving father. He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Mary Bryan. Andy is survived by his mother, Mattie Bell of Idabel, OK; wife, Linda Bell of Emory, TX; his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Eldon McBride of Idabel, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Curtis Elmore of DePort, TX; brother-in-law, John A Bryan of Idabel, OK; step-sons, Jerome Blackburn of Tom, OK and Chris Murray of Idabel, OK; nieces, Saundra Baser and Pam McKee both of Blossom, TX; nephews, John Bryan and Cathy, DeWayne Bryan and Kim all of Valliant, OK and Bobby Elmore and Keitha of Mt. Pleasant, TX; his special yorkie, Maddie Gracie; several other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
