Obituary of Sherri Wilkinson

Sherri Wilkinson, age 50 of Idabel, OK passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Dallas, TX. She was born on February 5, 1964 in Borger, TX, the daughter of George Williams and Patricia Harbin. Sherri grew up in Clarksville, TX and Borger, TX later she moved to Guthrie, OK to be with family. Sherri worked for the Idabel Country Club for over 20 years. She held several positions including, waitress, bartender, club secretary and eventually ran the club for a time. Sherri made many friends and lasting memories during this time that she treasured. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her granddaughter, riding motorcycles and going to the river with friends and family. Sherri was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and her door was always open to those in need.. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elizabeth Been; and her grandson, Carter James Williams. Sherri leaves to cherish her memory her son, Johnny Williams and Karanda of Madill, OK; daughter, Angela Wilkinson and David of Idabel, OK; granddaughter, Tonie Elizabeth Williams of Idabel, OK; father of her children, Jamie Wilkinson and Sonnia of Stinnett, TX; brothers, Dee Williams and Wayland Williams both of Edmond, OK; a sister, Lacricia Williams of Edmond, OK; several step-children and step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
