Obituary of Edna Cawley

Edna Cawley, age 87 of Valliant, OK passed away on Monday, April 8, 2014 at Hugo, OK. She was born on December 7, 1926 in Ft. Towson, OK, the daughter of William Robert Stone and Leona Cowan Stone. Edna was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing dominoes. She was a member of the Valliant First Assembly of God Church and loved helping provide meals at the Church. Edna was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lynda Niblett; granddaughter, Monique Trammell; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Edna leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce Cawley and Ben and Denise Cawley all of Valliant, OK; daughters and son-in-law, Jan Cook of Irving, TX and Bobbi and Ronnie Lane of Seagoville, TX; a brother, Bob Stone of Ft. Towson, OK; sisters, Alice Davis of Sulphur Springs, TX, Vivian Gibson of Ft. Towson, OK and Rosa Lee Morris of Norman, AR; grandchildren, Tom Chambers, Robert Chambers, Dred Barr, Shane Lane, Calen Cawley and Brooke Lane; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the First Assembly of God Church in Valliant, OK with Sis. Joyce Luman and Bro. Scott Stuart officiating. Interment will follow at the Ft. Towson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the First Assembly of God Church in Valliant, OK.
