Obituary of Johnny Willie

Johnny Willie, 62, of Idabel, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Idabel. He was born August 16, 1944 at Claremore, the son of George and Maryland Harjo Willie. Johnny was a talented artist, especially painting and Indian Art Work. He was affiliated with the Methodist Faith and had lived in Idabel for a short time moving from Morris, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darvin Wayne Willie, and Samuel Willie. Johnny is survived sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia and David Layton of Okmulgee, Carolyn and Eugene John of Idabel, Katherine Willie, and Christine and Lyndell Berryhill all of Morris, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
