Obituary of Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez, age 70, of Idabel passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Idabel, OK. He was born on May 3, 1943 in Faven, TX, the son of Hatito Hernandez and Delores Camarena. He worked in the construction business and was a very hard worker. He enjoyed watching sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was of the Catholic faith. He had lived in McCurtain County for about a year moving here from Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Luis leaves to cherish his memory his son, Luis Hernandez Jr of CA; daughters, Rachel Dixon and husband, Daniel, of Dierks, AR, Petra Pisani of Bakersfield, CA, and Angela Pisani of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Kevin Ward, Sarah Ward, Ladonna Ward, Derek Dixon, Angela Ramos, Katrina Tapia, Oleta Moreno, Alisha Armenta, Anthony Armenta, Jacqueline Armenta, Jennifer Pisani, Richard Luevano, Angelo Luevano; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Pinela, Irene Hernandez and Yolanda Zendejas; sister-in-law, Naomi Cruz; former wife, Oleta Martinez; and several other relatives and many friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Family Chapel with David Battiest officiating. Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, OK. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7 at the funeral home.
