Obituary of Teddie Dorey

Janet “Teddie” Dorey, age 51, of Idabel, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. She was born March 14, 1963 in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of James and Mary Roberts. She married William Dorey on January 16, 1988 in Ft. Worth, TX. Teddie was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts and gardening. She especially liked sewing and making pageant dresses. She was a kind and loving person who would help anyone. She had lived in for McCurtain County for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Roberts, and brother, Fred Roberts. Teddie is survived by her husband, William, of the home; sons, Daniel Coldiron of Davis, OK, Jesse Coldiron and Casey Dorey, both of Broken Bow, Dusty Dorey and Blaze Dorey, both of Idabel; daughter, Sierra Dorey of Idabel; mother, Mary Roberts; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Linda Dorey; brothers, Jimmy Roberts, Mike Roberts, David Roberts, and John Roberts; sister, Jennifer Roberts; several other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the White Family Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 4, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
