Obituary of Paula Gordon

Paula D. Gordon, 53 of the Redland Community, OK passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Idabel, OK. Paula was born on August 16, 1960 in Tyler, TX. She was a 1979 graduate of Perryton High School in Perryton, TX. Paula married Gary Douglas Gordon, her high school sweetheart on July 7, 1979. Paula had lived in the Redland Community for the last year and a half, moving from Florida. She worked at WalMart for several years. Paula was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a loving and devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Douglas Gordon; a brother, Carlton Stringfield; maternal grandmother, Bessie Klutts; paternal grandmother, Ersie Smith; nephews, Bradley Aylor and Adrian Stringfield. Paula is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Gordon and Shanna Gordon both of Houston, TX; her parents, Robert and Gracie Smith of the Redland Community; brothers and sister-in-law, James and Brenda Stringfield of Andrews, TX, her twin brother, Paul Stringfield of Perryton, TX and Robbie Smith of Denton, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Gracie Jo Foster of Edgewood, TX and Kelly and Shannon Whisennand of Elkhart, KS; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Jason Smith officiating.
