Obituary of Don Butler

Don Butler, 67, of Idabel passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Texarkana. He was born January 21, 1940 in Clebit, the son of Floyd M. and Willie Wyrick Butler. Don had lived in Idabel since 1968 moving here from Hugo. He owned and operated Abco Printing and Office Supply and Butler Real Estate. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was affiliated with the Baptist Faith. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Gregg Butler. Don leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Phyllis of Idabel; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Modesty Butler of Durant; a daughter and son-in-law, Fonda and Bob Proctor of Broken Bow; a daughter-in-law, Dana Butler of Idabel; a step-daughter and her husband, Cynthia and Darrin Rodriguez of Boise, Idaho; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Vickie Butler of Hugo, Clinton and Nina Butler of Alabama, and Clellen and Melita Butler of Georgia; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Walker of Antlers, and Elaine and Jorge Mitchelina of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
