Obituary of Ronald Hudson

Ronald Wayne Hudson, age 69 passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2014 at his home in Idabel, OK. He was born March 28, 1944 in Jacksonville, FL, the son of James Edward Hudson and Nellie Robarts Hudson. Ron married Audrey Holman on March 13, 1998 in DeQueen, AR. Ron worked as a heavy equipment operator before retiring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in the Submarine Service during the Vietnam war. Ron enjoyed TV Reality shows including the Pickers and Pawn Stars. He liked being outdoors and taking drives. Ron was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in Idabel for 15 years moving from Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ron is survived by his wife, Audrey Hudson, of the home; son, Ronald James Hudson of MN; daughters, Diana Phillips of VA, Teresa Klapperick of MN, and Jamie Weike of NC; step-daughter, Michele Peden of TX; mother-in-law, Evelyn Holman of Idabel; sister-in-law, Virginia Phillips of NM; brother-in-law, Jerial Wade Holman of CA; step-grandsons, Stephen White of Idabel and Ryan White of TX; a step-granddaughter, Kristin Peden of TX; several other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the White Family Chapel with Don Boulton officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
