Obituary of Diana Coffman

Diana Coffman, age 75, passed away on Christmas morning 2013 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on October 6, 1938 in Coventry, England, the daughter of Christopher Abraham Taylor and Rhoda Mae Perkins Taylor. Diana was very proud of her English heritage but was also proud of becoming a Citizen of the United States. She traveled to many different places including, Germany, California, Kansas and Texas before settling in Idabel, OK She was strictly a homemaker until starting to work at KEDDO where she served as a counselor's assistant for several years. After retiring from KEDDO she worked as a librarian assistant at the Idabel Public Library. Diana loved her community and she was an active volunteer for the Chamber of Commerce and the Idabel Main Street Program. She was always looking forward to traveling, family time, being with friends and doing things for her Community. Diana was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be especially remembered for her quick wit, her love of her family and friends and of course her, tenaciousness. She was preceded in death by her parents. Diana leaves to cherish her memory her sons and daughter-in-law, Jaguar Coffman of Broken Bow, OK and Larry and Christy Renee Coffman of Milton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Joseph Ebert Jr of Haworth, OK and Christy Diana and Patrick Cox of Johns Creek, GA; grandchildren, LaKeesha and Jared McKee, Dylan Butler, Zack Coffman, Ashley Butler and fiancé, Josh Copeland, Taylor Coffman, Christopher Ebert, Hayley Cox and Baylen Cox; great-grandchildren, Jade Butler, Shawn McKee and Bridger McKee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the funeral home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Rev. David Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community.
