Obituary of Charlotte Wooten Art

Charlotte Lynette Wooten Art, age 67 passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on June 26, 1947 in Paris, TX. Charlotte was a 1965 graduate of Idabel Gray High School. She spent many years working in the insurance and home health care fields throughout McCurtain County and always considered Idabel her home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Idabel. Charlotte was a friend to many and loved helping others. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and spending time on her genealogy. Charlotte will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Lee Wooten; grandmother, Edith Jones; and her aunt, Mary Guthrie all of Idabel. Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Marissa Shaffer of Diboll, TX; aq son, Paul Lorraine of Livonia, LA; and her daughter, Julia Fields of Idabel; grandchildren, Grayson Ward, Graham Ward, Caden Fields and Brynnleigh Fields; sisters, Frances Martin, Mary Campbell and Jennifer Wooten. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Rev. David Mercer officiating.
