Obituary of Jessie McHargue

Jessie McHargue, age 86, of Idabel passed away on October 20, 2013 at Paris, TX. Jessie was born on April 9, 1927 in the Holly Creek Community, the son of F. L. and Bessie Ruth Hughes McHargue. Jessie was a mechanic and a veteran having served in the Army during WWII. He enjoyed fishing and fixing things. He was a loving father. He was a life time resident of McCurtain County. Jessie was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica Lynn Wright; brothers, Johnny McHargue and Roy Thomas McHargue; sisters, Mary Belle Bunn and Dorothy Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Pam McHargue of Denison, TX, Charlie McHargue of Antlers, OK, and John David McHargue of Idabel; daughters and sons-in-law, Dora and Wyman Hobson of the Holly Creek Community and Wilma and Jack Day of Canton, TX; grandchildren, James Hobson, Shelby Wright, Travis Wright, Henry Day and Carey Day; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Holly Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
