Obituary of Catherine Ouida Carroll

Catherine Ouida Carroll took off on her heavenly journey on Friday, March 16, 2007. We know there is a great celebration going on in heaven at this moment. See in your minds that bright smile as she was led by her Saviour into her heavenly home. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Rejoice and be exceedingly glad that she is freed from her earthly body and sees the glories of heaven with eyes that are no longer dim and ears that can hear the heavenly anthems! Remember, she is more alive today than she has ever been since we have known her. Praise God for the life she has lived before us. Ouida was born January 15, 1924, the daughter of Oliver Clinton and Ida May Merry Whitfield. She was a retired postmaster having served for 22 years at the post office in Golden, Ok. She was a member of NAPUS, and the National League of Postmasters.
