Obituary of Harold L Sorrells

Harold L. Sorrells departed this life on August 20, 2013. He was born on July 9, 1939 in the Redland Community, the son of William L. and Eula Phillips Sorrells. He and Nellie Brakebill were married on October 18, 1962. Harold graduated from Haworth High School in 1957. He was in the U. S. Army from 1962-1964 serving a tour in Korea. Harold worked as a mechanic since an early age, retiring from James Hodge Ford in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents. Harold is survived by his wife, Nellie of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jovell and Keith Setzer of Horatio, AR; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Brenda Sorrells of Idabel, OK; grandsons, Jeffrey, Karston and Dakota; granddaughter, Chasadi; great-grandson, Reese; sisters, Loretta Wilson of Haworth and Sarah Battlefield of Verdegris, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the White Family Chapel with Victor Balagbagan officiating. Burial will follow at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
