Obituary of Joan Davis

Opal Joan Davis, age 96, of Idabel, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Broken Bow. She was born September 30, 1916 in Missouri, the daughter of John Turner and Lillie Martin Turner. Joan was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elba Langford Davis; and a sister, Lela Miller. Joan is survived by special friends, Ron and Cinderella Deramus and Rhonda Sargent and Tristen Sargent; other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the White Family Chapel with Rev. Oscar Wilkie officiating. A private interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK.
