Obituary of Robert Citty

Robert "Bob" Citty, age 59, of the Redland Community, OK passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Tulsa, OK. He was born on May 24, 1954 in Odessa, Texas, the son of Alene and Dale Citty. Bob grew up in Odessa, TX area. Bob was a wonderful finish carpenter and furniture designer and also completed heating and air conditioning school. He loved playing guitar and singing with friends, fishing, sports, sunsets and seeing the moon rise. Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dale Citty. Bob is survived by his son, Wesley Dale Citty, a schoolteacher in San Angelo, TX; his mother, Alene Citty of the Redland Community, OK; sisters Marci King and Phyllis Citty both of Austin TX; and a brother, Joel Citty of Austin, TX; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Redland Cemetery in the Redland Community, OK. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the funeral home. The family would like to especially thank the loving, compassionate staff at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, OK for their care of Bob.
