Obituary of John Maytubbi

John Maytubbi, age 69, passed away on Sunday May 5, 2013 at Idabel, OK. He was born on June 20, 1943 in Talihina, OK, the son of John Q. Maytubbi and Dena Marie White Maytubbi. John was a retired stone mason. He enjoyed baseball games and fishing.. He was a devoted father and grandfather and loved spending time with his grandchildren. John was affiliated with the Kulli Tuklo Methodist Church and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Isabelle Ludlow, Helen Noah and Wanda Mitchell; a brother, Quincy Maytubbi; and nephews, Jason Ludlow and Dale Mitchell. John is survived by his; son and daughter-in-law, Waylen Brent Maytubbi and Erica Williston of Idabel, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Kelly Bond of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, David Maytubbi, Desteny Battiest, Keylan Bond, Kason Bond, Kelly Bond Jr., Malachi Maytubbi and Maecian Bond; a brother, Floyd Maytubbi of Battiest, OK; sisters, Joyce Maytubbi and Gale Almaraz both of Broken Bow, OK and Ann and Randy Cameron of Battiest, OK; a special cousin, Sonny Holt; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the County Line Cemetery in Pickens, OK with Bro. Vince Maytubbi officiating. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
