Obituary of James McCully

James "Blue" McCully, age 62 of Idabel, OK passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1950 in Wills Point, TX, the son of Silas and Lila Mae Poston McCully. Blue owned and operated Blue's Construction. He made many friends during his years of building and remodeling. Blue was an avid hunter and loved deer camp with his family and friends. He had made Idabel his home for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Gayle "Nonie" McCully; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Blue is survived by his son, James Marshall "Boy" McCully and wife, Tad of Grand Saline, TX; granddaughter, Justina Koonce and husband, Dalton of Grand Saline, TX; his great-grandson, Hunter Koonce of Grand Saline, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Polly and Jim Cain of Terrell, TX and Pat and Charles Powell of Wells Point, TX; special friends, Roger and Sharon "Magnolia" Bivings of Idabel, OK, Jimmy "grasshopper" Jenkins and Larry Lambert both of Idabel, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Canfield Cemetery with Bro. Doug Clements and Steve McMasters officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April, 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
