Obituary of Bill Severn

Billy Pat (Bill) Severn, 87, of Tom, OK, passed away Saturday February 9th, 2013 at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, TX. He was born November 20, 1925 the son of Marcus DeLaFayette and Bertha Elizabeth (Jones) Severn. He was the husband of Edna Erle (Dillard) Severn. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired Sr. Drilling Engineer Specialist from Tenneco Oil Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Walter, Bob, Givens, and Mark, and by two sisters Bonnie Malone (Severn) and Connie (Severn) Tarver. Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife Edna, five children, Deborah Ann (Severn) Greer, Jerry Mark & Barbara (Coffee) Severn, Gwyn Elizabeth (Severn) Braden, Kimberly Craig Severn, and Toni Brooke (Severn) & Jeff Holley, seven grandchildren, Bret Adams, Shanna McBain, Tara (Severn) & Zack Mahurin, Chris & Cameron (McKee) Severn, Pat & Tammy Crumpton, Beth (Crumpton) Phillips, and Ashly (Severn) & Brandon Jackson, and eleven great-grandchildren Derrick Adams, Kayla Adams, Abigail Blevins, Hunter Williams, Madaline Mahurin, Gauge Severn, Bronson Crumpton, Carson Crumpton, Anna Phillips, Blake Davis, Audrey Camp, and two sisters Christine (Severn) & Charles Terry and Patricia (Severn) Rea and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Tom Cemetery in Tom, OK with Rev. Miles Wesner officiating.
