Obituary of Robert Peters

Robert Peters, age 82, of the Redland Community, OK passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Idabel, OK. He was born on November 20, 1930 in Mott, North Dakota, the son of Fred and Katherine Burkhardt Peters. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a Quality Control Specialist for Lucky Grocery Stores. He lived in California for many years and moved to Idabel in 2005. Robert enjoyed bowling and fishing. He loved to travel and took many road trips all over the country. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and a sister. Our father, Robert, is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sandi Jenkins of Orange, CA, Joyce and Joe Smith of Haworth, OK and Peggy Pippenger of the Redland Community, OK; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 brothers and 4 sisters; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be held sometime in March.
