Obituary of Lola Mae Baum

Lola Mae Baum, 82, of Eagletown, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at DeQueen, Arkansas. She was born March 26, 1924 at Alma, Arkansas to Amos Riley and Elsie Thomas Kerlin. Lola moved to Eagletown when she was 8 years old. She graduated from Eagletown High School as valedictorian of her class in 1940. She married Henry Ferman Lee in 1940 and moved to California where she lived for the next 30 years. In 1964 she married Glen Baum. They made their home in Eagletown in 1971. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family. She was affiliated with the pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Baum in 1988; brother, Vernard Kerlin; sister, Norma Hadley; and 2 step brothers, R. C. and Delbert Couch. Lola is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Karen Lee of California; twin daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Top Chandler of Eagletown and Mickey and Greg Hicks of Upland, California; one sister, Jean Cromer of Longview, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and a host of friends.
