Jose Nava, age 94, of Idabel, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 29, 1918 in Bisbee, AZ, the son of Francisco Nava and Maria Zaens Nava. Jose enjoyed gardening and farming and spending time with his family. He has lived in this area for 12 years coming from Mexico. He was a member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Jose is survived by his wife, Teresa Nava of the home; sons, Carmen Nava, Francisco Nava, Crispin Nava, Jose Nava, and Thomas Nava; daughter, Guadalupe Nava; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Father Daniel Campos officiating. Interment will follow at the Denison Cemetery.
