Obituary of Kenneth Cannady

Kenneth Ray Cannady, 80, of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Idabel, OK. He was born on January 30, 1932 in Garvin, OK, the son of Ernest Truman Cannady and Lula Mae Barnes Cannady. He married Cloyce Jo Davis in Wichita Falls, TX on June 14, 1969. Kenneth worked for Pepsi Cola in Oklahoma City for several years. After moving back to Idabel he worked at the west side EZ Mart until retiring about 10 years ago. He enjoyed watching TV especially old western's. Kenneth lived most of his life in McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sam Cannady and Clyde Cannady; and sisters, Effie Moore, Lela Guest, Ola Mae Highful and Ruth Nettles. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jo Cannady of Idabel, OK; daughters, Cathy Ruffner of San Diego, CA, Jodeana StClair of Butcher Pen, OK, and Kendra John of Oklahoma City, OK; sons, Kenneth Lynn Cannady of Enid, OK, Paul Dunlap of Ohio, Timothy Dunlap of Paris, TX, Tony Dunlap of Oklahoma City, OK and Shaun Cannady of Idabel, OK; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services with will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Sonny Dense officiating. Interment will follow in Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, OK.
