Obituary of Margaret Doan

Margaret Doan, age 76, of New Boston, TX, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012. She was born on February 6, 1936 at Haworth, OK, the daughter of Sam and Lillian Stewart Nelson. Margaret was retired having ran a child care center for many years. She was an inspiration to her family and never complained. She loved arts and crafts, making flower arrangements and reading the Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Beverly Horridge; sister, Ima Jean Davis; and brothers, Bill Nelson and Howard Nelson. Margaret is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, James and Tamara Carter of Tulsa, OK and Mike Carter of New Boston, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and David Fuller of Madill, OK, Denise Carroll of New Boston, TX and Kristy and Thomas Willey of DeKalb, TX; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at White Family Chapel with Bro. Summer Gammill officiating.
