Obituary of Kareen Dale

Kareen “Kay” Marie Dale, 64, of Ringold passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Antlers. She was born June 13, 1942 in Palestine, Texas, the daughter of David and Marie Moore Turpin. She married Billy Dale on October 24, 1958 in Nowata, OK. Kay attended school in Idabel. After her husband was discharged from the Army, her family moved to the Dallas area in 1969. Kay and her family returned to McCurtain County sometime around 1974. She had lived in Ringold since 1991. Kay enjoyed painting landscapes. She was a member of NAPUS and was employed by the Ringold Post Office as Postmaster. She attended the Old Burwell Church of Christ in Ringold. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 year old son, Mark Paul Dale in 1965; son-in-law, Gary Nolan Gross, brother-in-law, Dewayne Penner; and mother-in-law, Lorene Penner. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her husband Billy Paul Dale of the home; sons, David Dee Dale and Billy Paul Dale II; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Marie Gross, Sharon Kay and Patrick D. Gray, Wanda Jo and Balbino Paredes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wimpford and Phyllis Jo Vice, Glen “Red” and Mary Dale, and Wanda Webb; grandchildren, Russell Dale Pinckard, Ryan Patrick Pinckard, Brianna Marie Wood, Elyse Dennell Pinckard, Randall Mark Paul Wright, Veronica Kay Nicole Wright, Dewayne “Hank” Ray Smith, Corbin Fletcher Dale, Shalyse Wryn Tuttle, Ruth Mackenna Dale, Toni Michelle Lambert, Ashley Gray, Cord Gray, Brice Gray; great-granchildren, Mikayia Marie Wood, Cortlyn Augustus Cravins, Kaitlyn Makenzie Cravins, Caleb Wayne Anderson, Calen Malachi Wright, Alexus Danielle Lambert; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
