Obituary of Eddie Sharp

Eddie Sharp, 65, of Idabel, OK passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Idabel, OK. He was born on July 14, 1947 in Texarkana, TX, the son of Edgar Lee Sharp and Opal M. Anderson Sharp. Eddie was a 1966 graduate of Idabel Gray High School. Eddie was a retired carpenter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Eddie enjoyed working in his yard. He was a perfectionist and liked it to look good. Eddie was a lifetime resident of Idabel. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Frances Mooney. Eddie is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Freddie and Marsha Sharp of Muldrow, OK and Charles Sharp of Idabel, OK; sisters and brother-in-law, Juanita and Timothy Lay of Tulsa, OK and Lois Sells of Valliant, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK.
