Obituary of Bud McBrayer

Bud McBrayer, 64, of Idabel, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 at Paris, Texas. He was born April 3, 1942 at Haworth, the son of Edgar Newton and Gussie Violet Bryant McBrayer. On August 4, 1961 he married Sue Finley at Haworth. Bud owned and operated Bud’s Saw Repair for over 40 years. He was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, serving as a Deacon for many years. Bud loved teaching his Sunday School Class. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bud is survived by his wife Sue of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Kittie McBrayer of Ponca City, and Chris and GiGi McBrayer of Idabel; a daughter, Renae Boston of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Francis and Harold Axton of Oklahoma City; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carmen and Marvin Taylor of Coalgate; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and many many friends.
