Obituary of Ruth Onita Coleman

Ruth Onita Roberson Coleman, age 92, of Idabel passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 in Texarkana, TX. She was born on February 9, 1920 in Bokhoma, OK, the daughter of Sam and Elza Roberson of Haworth. Ruth was a retired school teacher of approximately 40 years. She enjoyed reading, writing, and most of all, visiting with people. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Idabel. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Coleman; precious daughter, Mari Alice Ames; sister, Hazel Peters; and sister-in-law, Betty Roberson. Ruth is survived by a brother, J.W. Roberson of Idabel; cousin, Louise Bell of Idabel; nephews, Benny Peters and wife, Thelma, of Redland and Duane Wade and wife, Judy, of Wake Village, TX; nieces, Jackie Micou of Valliant and Diana Edwards of Nash, TX; numerous great-nephews and nieces; other relatives and a long list of special brothers and sisters in Christ.
