Obituary of Richard Dwayne Davis

Richard Dwayne Davis, age 45 of Haworth passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Idabel, OK. He was born on October 12, 1966 in Lancaster, CA, the son of Yates and Shirley Davis. Richard enjoyed fishing, raising his garden and playing with his pup named Pac-Man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Richard had lived in Haworth since he was about three years old moving from California. He was preceded in death by his father, Yates Davis on February 20th of this year. Richard is survived by his mother, Shirley Davis of Haworth; his son, Alvin Davis of Durant, OK; granddaughter, Echo Nicole Davis of Durant, OK; brothers and sister-in-law, Wayne and Tammy Davis and Robert Davis all of Haworth; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Michael Carrell of Haworth, OK; step-daughter, Tara Whittle of Durant, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Haworth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
