Obituary of Darrell Dwayne Henslee

Darrell Dwayne Henslee, 58, of Golden, OK passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Shreveport, LA. He was born on June 18, 1954 in El Paso, TX, the son of Darrell Henslee and Willie Mae Bell Henslee. Darrell was a truckdriver. He worked for Jimmie Tucker Trucking for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Darrell was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents. Darrell is survived by his daughters, Jessica Henslee of Idabel and Shelly Henslee of Pottsboro, TX; sons, Jeromme Henslee of Idabel and Dean Henslee of Golden, OK; sisters, Juanita Henslee of Red Oak, OK and LaVerne Henslee of Arkansas; special friends and mothers of his children, Sharon Sparkman of Idabel and Jeneine Smith of Pottsboro, TX; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Glover Cemetery in Glover, OK with Bro. Mark McGeehee officiating. The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
