Obituary of Michael Ford

Michael L. Ford-Hardin, 59, of Arlington, TX passed away on Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Arlington, TX. He was born on April 21, 1953 in Dallas, TX. Michael married Kandy Burks on April 22, 1990 in Midlothian, TX. Michael was a truck driver. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan and enjoyed watching wrestling on television. Michael was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Idabel, OK since 1990 and was a good Christian man who loved spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Kandy of the home; his parents Wayne and Lora Ford and Charlene and Mark Hardin; daughters, Shannon Ford of Cleburne, TX, Tonya Ford Griffin of Arlington, TX and Rachel Ford Comeaux of San Antonio, TX; step-sons, Jimmy Wayne Burks of Mansfield, TX and Stephen Burks of Arlington, TX; a step-daughter, Dayla Jackman of Idabel; brother, Gary Ford of Quinlan, TX; sisters, Mickie Dye of Waco, TX and Candi Smith of Whitney, TX; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel. Interment will follow at Denison Cemetery in Idabel, OK. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
