Obituary of Ruby Richardson

Ruby Richardson, age 90 of Haworth, OK passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was born December 18, 1921 in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Diamond Levy Brake and Gladys Hill Brake. Ruby was a wonderful homemaker and raised 5 children on her own. She worked as a home health provider after moving here 30 years ago from California. Ruby was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sylvester Lowell "Jack " Richardson; a daughter, Audrey Richardson; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Ruby is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Jewel Richardson of Haworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Gerald Cornett of Summerset, KY, Sharon and Sandy Skulneck of Novato, CA and Shirley Richardson of Novato, CA; sisters, Norma Cassidy Edith Harrison both of Iowa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Haworth Cemetery with Rev. Marvin Needham Jr. and Rev. Dick Payne officiating.
