Obituary of Nelly Pierce

Nelly Pierce, age 73, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Mesa, AZ. She was born on February 28, 1938 in Pasto, Columbia, South America, the daughter of Jesus Angel Barbosa and Beatrice Rey de Barbosa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward Pierce and her parents. Nelly is survived by her daughters, Claudia Robbins of Mesa, AZ and Julie Caudle of Horatio, AR; sons, Wayne 'Buddy' Pierce of Haworth, OK and Robert Pierce of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Nicole Robbins and Matthew Robbins, both of Mesa, AZ, Tanner Caudle and Cade Caudle, both of Horatio, AR, Chris Pierce and Morgan Pierce, both of Haworth, OK; sister, Paulina McConnell of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; nephew: Jas McConnell of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; nieces, Helen McConnell of Vancouver, BC Canada and Jessica McConnell of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; other relatives and a host of friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with Bro. Miles Wesner officiating. Interment will follow at the Harris Cemetery in the Harris Community.
