Obituary of Mary Ann Owens Currier

Mary Ann Owens Currier, 64, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at her residence. She was born on September 21, 1947 in Washington County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of David C. Owens and Kathryn Sanford. She was a retired truck driver. Mary Ann loved taking care of and riding horses and enjoyed going on trail rides and collecting Native American Indian Heritage items. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Paula Stout and Kevin Stout; brothers, Tommy Owens, Jimmy Owens, and David Owens; and a sister, Donna Foster. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dickie Ralls of Texarkana, TX; former daughter-in-law, Samantha Jefferson of Idabel; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Tasha Owens of Texarkana, AR; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Donald Pugh of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Cody Eschrich, Leeann Newsome, Leah Stout, Kindra Stout, Colby Stout, and Emily Stout.; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK. Following the services, visitors of the family will be received at the home of Mike and Pam Farley, 205 Stafford Lane, Idabel.
